What is a Managed Service Provider (MSP)?
An IT managed service provider (MSP) is responsible for managing and maintaining the IT systems included within the managed service contract. We can tailor a package for you whether a fully managed IT service or ad-hoc support for the in-house team.

A fully managed IT service from Share IT offloads the responsibility of your IT systems to us. Using our specialist tools, we proactively monitor and manage your servers, PCs and other IT infrastructure. The toolset enables our engineers to be alerted to issues as they arise and prevent them from becoming a significant problem. We ensure that all devices are running at their best, have sufficient protection from viruses and that software is updated. We backup data up securely using our 3-2-1 backup methodology to our UK based datacenters. In addition to all of that, we can take over the management of other 3rd party suppliers if required.
Our On-boarding Process
Firstly we would set up a workshop with you to discuss your IT Support requirements and establish a scope of works and success criteria. When we are all agreed on the roles and responsibilities, we will start the on-boarding process. For a fully managed IT service, this consists of a knowledge transfer process for your environment. We then deploy our toolset to your environment, allowing us to capture configuration details and monitor the system. Once the on-boarding process is complete, we start providing support to users while monitoring and managing the server estate. When all parties are happy, and we have met the transformation success criteria, we assume full responsibility for the in-scope systems.
